1-26-25 Minah fo Jah

Aloha mai kākou! Another beautiful week as a missionary in the Philippines! Filled with hand of the Lord moments, and he covering my Inadequecies. I am continuing to learn and grow from such experiences I am blessed with, and with such, have one of them I'd like to share! This past week was filled with miracles, one being the amount of exchanges we had to do, Zone Conference, and the Zone Council we had to lead. Yet what I have noticed, is as we do our best, the Lord fills the rest, and its up to us to JAHS TRAHS! Shortly, Elder Allen and I, just worked. We set high goals for this week, set plans for the way we'd achieve them, leaving the rest up to the Lord. Some of our goals consisted of 20 people on date for baptism, 20 people we're teaching at Church, and with everything going on, finding opportunities to find 30 people. With a baptism happening on Saturday, and 3 exchanges, with Zone Conference and Council the next day. The Lord, does not need logic, but needs our faith. Plans were executed and we did our best to simply do our best. As we did so, we were able to reach all of our goals. The Lord amplifies our efforts when our goals are righteous. Sometimes we are put in situations, where our internal selves love to doubt and deem things "impossible". "I can't do that", "Were too busy!", "No one can do that!", "Its never been done before!". Moses spoke to his people, as they doubted, awaiting their sure death at the edge of the Red Sea, as he exclaimed, Exodus 14:13-14 "...Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Braddas and seestahs, jahs trahs. The Lord himself is fighting for you. Take a step back, and see what the Lord is teaching, and know, that when we give our all, logic takes no place. Minah fo Jah 🤙 Aloha nō, ELDER ISHIBASHI
