Aloha mai kākou!
Another beautiful week as a missionary in the Philippines! Filled with hand of the Lord moments, and he covering my Inadequecies. I am continuing to learn and grow from such experiences I am blessed with, and with such, have one of them I'd like to share!
This past week was filled with miracles, one being the amount of exchanges we had to do, Zone Conference, and the Zone Council we had to lead. Yet what I have noticed, is as we do our best, the Lord fills the rest, and its up to us to JAHS TRAHS! Shortly, Elder Allen and I, just worked. We set high goals for this week, set plans for the way we'd achieve them, leaving the rest up to the Lord. Some of our goals consisted of 20 people on date for baptism, 20 people we're teaching at Church, and with everything going on, finding opportunities to find 30 people. With a baptism happening on Saturday, and 3 exchanges, with Zone Conference and Council the next day. The Lord, does not need logic, but needs our faith. Plans were executed and we did our best to simply do our best. As we did so, we were able to reach all of our goals.
The Lord amplifies our efforts when our goals are righteous. Sometimes we are put in situations, where our internal selves love to doubt and deem things "impossible". "I can't do that", "Were too busy!", "No one can do that!", "Its never been done before!".
Moses spoke to his people, as they doubted, awaiting their sure death at the edge of the Red Sea, as he exclaimed,
Exodus 14:13-14
"...Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."
Braddas and seestahs, jahs trahs. The Lord himself is fighting for you. Take a step back, and see what the Lord is teaching, and know, that when we give our all, logic takes no place. Minah fo Jah 🤙

Another great week as a missionary! This week came and went so quickly, in which I got transfered. It was a super sad time to leave Quezon and the amazing people I've had the opportunity to meet there, in which I will never forget! Pasensya kung hindi ako nakasagot sa inyong mga messages! Bawal po kasi! Pero binasa ko na! Mahal ko kayong lahat Also my awesome companion and friend, Elder Bohman. Being transferred to Cabanatuan City, in a place called Aduas, with my new companion Elder Allen, another stud of an Elder!
The experience I want to share happened this week as we taught a young couple, who's girlfriend is a strong member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo Church. In which simply, is a very strictly organized church, with very dedicated members! While talking, then sharing a message, we began simply conversating about God's love. How we can feel his love, and about different experiences that we, in our individual lives, have felt the love he has for us. We talked about the Godhead, the Holy Ghost as the instrument to help us feel, the peace and love which comes from him. We discussed the Holy Ghost as the revealer of sacred truths, to help us, find true happiness, expounding on the Book of Mormon as God's tool to help us to do so. Throughout different Religions, we all can come to agreement that he truly does love us, but it is only through this Church that we can fully feel so. As for our friend, expressing the peace she felt, and knowing it was from our Loving Father in Heaven, committed to a kneeling prayer asking about the Book of Mormon, and committed to coming to Church next week.
I am more than happy to be part of a work, backed up by the Creator of all. I am consistently becoming more and more confident each day in this work, because of the fruits, miracles, and blessings I have had the privilege to witness. I testify that if there is one truth, that sets us apart from all else, is the fulness of the understanding of God's love that he has for each and every one of us. Don't doubt that, if we look at all from that perspective, all becomes clearer, jahs trans!!

Dear Brother Ishibashi,
We are pleased to inform you that your missionary, Elder Ishibashi, has been assigned to serve as a Zone Leader in the Philippines Cabanatuan Mission. Elder Ishibashi has shown himself to be a humble, dedicated, hardworking and obedient missionary who has been faithful and diligent. He is qualified for this important mission assignment. Sister Eckel and I feel so blessed to now have the opportunity of serving even more closely with him as he fulfills the responsibilities that will come to him in this new role and will be available to help him in any way that he requires.
His responsibilities as a Zone Leader will include a stewardship for the wellbeing and training of all those for whom he has a responsibility. This will include helping them learn by example and teaching them important proselyting skills, demonstrating love for God, love for each other and love for the people that they teach. He will train them in all aspects of missionary life including how to organize and plan, how to hold study sessions and how to carry out companion inventory to name a few. His influence on fellow missionaries will be powerful.
We have confidence in Elder Ishibashi and know that he will be successful in this assignment. The Lord trusts him and so do we. We believe that he will carry out this assignment with the same dedication and commitment that he has already demonstrated thus far as a missionary. He has been such a blessing to our mission!
Warm regards,
Cory Eckel Karen Eckel
